KPa has developed a Point Fixed Structural Glazing System to take advantage of the latest technology available to create an elegant but yet lightweight structure. KPa has named this VisionMax to describe its unique feature of allowing maximum field of vision. Occupants inside the enclosure will have almost unobstructed view of the scenery outside. Guests approaching the structure will have the feeling of a totally see through enclosure.

VisionMax is lightweight, transparent and liberates the glass, creating space and brings the concept of light itself into the objective. Supported by high tech design of sub-frame of stainless steel tension structure, glass fin and or steel truss, it provides various degree of transparency. Natural light is captured to its maximum of virtues.

Application to atriums and entrances will allow the Architect to create something striking and often provides a natural focal point to the building. It is used for walls and roofs. Gutters and water drainage can be arranged.

Technical Information
VisionMax is a flushed faced point fixed structural glazing system. It is suitable for traditional single glazed structure and where double-glazing is desired, fixing is made to the inside lite. This leaves the outside lite completely free of fixtures.

Tempered and laminated glass panels are secured to custom designed supports and/or sub-frame by stainless steel bolts passing through precision drilled holes in the glass panels. The joint between the glass panels is then weather sealed with low modulus silicone. The bolts and fixings may take many forms, form simple brackets to sophisticated spider castings and precision engineered articulated bolts.
